"Ruth assessed me for a program of exercises and good mobility habits for which I at first attended regular private lessons followed by small group sessions.

I took a break from these activities following several weeks in hospital and rehabilitation, upon return to “normal” I felt I was capable of ‘going it alone’- not so. Like most I do need that regular encouragement to remain successfully on task.

Returning to Ruth’s care was enlightening after physiotherapy following my sixth full knee replacement. The exercises given in rehab was good and task suited but lacked the detailed information Ruth explained about the relationship between each exercise and the skeletal muscular activity resulting from each module.

To follow how the body worked in relation to specific controlled movement has meant so much more to me. My GP, who knows Ruth  by reputation, has been high in praise too.

I am delighted that Ruth is following my routine on a bi weekly cycle, for she changes the exercise as my needs require change, it surprises me just how many variations there can be to what seems the “same” movement."

Ruth has been attending to my exercise requirements for about 6 months and I can definitely feel an improvement in the aerobic quality of my heart and breathing functions. I also now feel more confidence with my equilibrium due to our balance training activities. My body flexibility has greatly improved due to our stretching practices.
